Resolution
The Questions of the discontinuance, of the cultivation of rice in the Wong ne-chung and Sekkon padi fields was taken into consideration, whereupon,
it was resolved, that the Honorable Major Caine, Mr. Getzlaff, and Mr. Gordon,
should be a Committee and communicate with the inhabitants of the Wong ne-chung and Sekong padi fields respecting the value of the Lands prohibited from being cultivated as Rice Grounds.
